On our recent family trip to this area, we enjoyed a day at Pelee Park. We rented bikes and rode them through the woods. We visited the beach and we also took the trolley to the Southernmost point of Canada. Visitors can also rent a two-person kayak or take a guided canoe tour through the marshland.
What to Bring
A day at Pelee Park is a wonderful outdoor experience. You really do not need too many supplies but here is what we found useful on our trip based on our experience travelling to other national parks. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress in layers that can be removed as day gets warmer. Be sure to bring a water bottle and hydrate regularly. Lastly apply sunscreen and bring a mosquito repellent.
