You do want to build awareness, but the primary purpose is to engage and interact with your audience and customers not just to sell. Create content that people will want to share; they will want to tag their friends in or comment on. A variety of different material will also make your page more attractive and exciting, use infographics, blog posts, videos – that answers a question or delivers a message that resonates with your audience. Content that humors enlightens evokes emotion or a reaction. 

There is no point wasting your time doing anything in your business that has no thought or planning behind it, so remember the same is the case for your social media.
